GodluvsMe's 1982 Pontiac Firebird

I was born into a Southern Baptist family. I was brought up Southern Baptist. I was a child of God for much of my childhood and then I hit an age and a time in my life where I thought that God was not on my side and that he was a burden and I lost my faith. The past few months have been very hard on me and this year has tested me a lot. I had a friend who went to a church that she had spoken very highly of. I decided to go with her one Sunday and I didn't go back for a few months, until another of my friends who also went there asked me if I'd like to go with her and I decided to go. I had been hoping to go back for a while. The church i am talking about is Joel's Place, it is the best church I have ever been to and I feel at home and in place when I am there. I am trying to get right with God again and I believe that I have. I finally seeked him out and it turns out that all I had to do was take a few steps and look behind the shower curtain...last Sunday I learned an important lesson......"Don't worry, Be happy"...those were the words of our wise and brilliant pastor Gus....haha... I want to thank ODM for helping me in my quest to get right with God and I hope to be a member of the church and the family. Thanks.
