MaryHadALilAnti's 2000 Mazda Protege

Well, I pretty much grew up in a strong Christian home, and I got saved when I was really little, so I don't even really remember a time when I wasn't a christian, but as I got older about 12 or 13, I began to almost despise having to go to church and everything. In my family it wasn't a 'go to church when you want to' kind of thing... It was you had to go every Sunday unless you were really sick, and you had to dress up, stand up, sing during praise&worship, do the whole deal... even if you didn't really want to. I got to the point of almost hating the act, because there were so many times when I just didn't feel like worshiping, but I still had to stand there and sing the songs, and basically put on a show. I got sick of it. So pretty much I fell away from an actual relationship with God because the whole religious act was just too much for me... But after a really awesome revival and a week at youth camp I came back to the realization that God is alive and He's not just someone we read about on Sunday. He's someone that lives in us, and that loves us, and is taking care of us EVERY day. So at 13 years old I rededicated my life to the Lord, and even thought I've stumbled many a time since then, I keep trying and keep holding on. I know I wouldn't be alive today if God hadn't had His hand on me. I'm struggling, but God's with me, pulling me through all my trials, and more recently fear and unpeace. I'm gonna make it, though.
