I had always grown up in a christian family, frequently went to church and was rasied with a full understanding of the wonderful glory of God. I always had good morals and values, and my personality glowed with the happiness I felt because of my belief in God. I can still remember the day I accepted the Lord as my personal saviour, with my grandfather and my parents present. I went to church every sunday after that day, and participated actively in church activites such as volunteering and youth group. As I got older, I became a youth leader and taught sunday school ever other week, sharing the word of God to little children. I was baptized in Grade 6, and I knew my life was changing for the best, my heart felt lifted higher to God. In the recent years, my heart has been challenged with many tough experiences, that has challenged my understanding of God's plan in my life, and until recently, I have come to grips with what He has planned for me in my life. My fathers dad passed away Dec. 18/04, my family and I were in a terrible car accident Christmas Day 2004, I had suffered another accident Feb. 8/05. I think God was telling me that I needed a wake up call, after suffering multiple head injuries due to both accidents, I was fainting often, and my health was detiorating. I was frequently prayed for by the members of my church family, and my family and friends. I was annointed with oils one Sunday after fainting in church, I could feel Gods touch at that moment, and even though my health wasn't restored immediately, I am doing much better. The power of God is an amazing thing, and even though I can never fully repay God for all of the things He has done for me, I owe him my love, and I want to honour him and obey his word forever.
