Grew up catholic. In church every Sunday and Wednesday evening with mom and little brother, until the week I moved out on my own. I was 21. About 8 months go by with me not caring a bit about church what so ever. Then I had a change of heart somehow. My dad had been praying for my salvation for years at that point. He rededicated his life when I was 15. I started going to a small bible church and had prayed the salvation prayer every week for what seemed to be a couple months. I wasn't plugged in at all at that church and knew no one. In turn I didn't know what to do with my walk at that point. You can say I got in the salvation car started it but wasn't in 1st gear to go yet. Then a couple friends invited me to the church I go to now, and where I met my wife. That's when I got plugged in, immediately. From there it has snow-balled. It was Oct 30, 2001 at a men's bible study where two solid brothers helped me realize my salvation a couple months ago at that point. I was 22. It's been almost 4 years since the LORD pulled me from my path of self destruction. If I had an opportunity to share this testimony to a new believer it would be to get plugged in! It's so crucial. Fellowship of believers helps you stay on God's race track without crashing!!!!!
