I grew up in Gulf Latin American District of the Assemblies of God. I was raised in Houston, TX. Eventually living in a big city and poor neighborhood I started to hang out with the hispanic gangbangers. My seventh grade year one thing lead to another and the guys whom I thought were my friends wanted to kill me. My mom sent me away to my grandmother's in Edinburg, TX which is a small city near the Mexican border. I was never much for changing but I played the christian role without the relationship. All through high school I made friends but never really trusted anyone. I began to dabble in witchcraft and satanism. I can remember my mom saying that she prayed for me every night. I remember having dreams where my room would fill with smoke and a sulphuric smell. I would see shadows throughout the smoke and I'd wake up the next morning with claw marks on my chest and back. January 8, 1998 I gave my life to the Lord. He has never left me since then but He has let me see that I can't live without him. I have had many setbacks but He has never forsaken me and I love Him for that. Now, I am trying to be the best dad I can be to my boys and an even better husband to my wife. There is more to me but one day I will put my entire testimony online or just wait to meet me....I have a passion for young people, mainly because I know that they need someone who can understand what they are going through.
