I was raised Catholic, always believe that Jesus died and resurrected and that saved me from my sins. But I never got any emphasis on having a personal relationship with God. After graduating high school I was very unsatisfied with life. I made a list of things that, if i had, would make me happy. Went to college and ended up (as in not panned) having a h. s. buddy rooming with me. He was from a prostestant background so we often talked about the differences/similarities b/w us. During my 3 semester, still extremely unsatisfied with life I was reminded of the list i had made 2 years earlier. In fact, I had accomplished almost everything on that list. I was still miserable. So that night I realized that no matter how hard I worked and accomplished I never would be happy. So I gave my life to the Lord. I wish I could say I've never looked back, but that wouldn't true. But I know that I cannot live life w/o living it for God. It is now just a matter of following Him w/o hesitation.

As someone once told me: The distance between His Promise and His Proof, is Faith.
