Testimony

I was a good kid my whole life but I never really knew who Jesus was. I had morals, beliefs, and was an all around good kid. Only problem was I really didn't have a good view on who Jesus was, nobody really taught me. It was Sophomore year in high school that I met my buddy Chris who took me to church, and Iv'e been going ever since. I'd be lying if I said I was from a broken home or had nearly as many problems as some people. About a month ago in church I prayed for Jesus to be closer to me and actually meant it. Since then Iv'e been trying to get closer to Jesus but I need to try harder. Now that you know how I was saved I'll tell you why I'm into cars and street racing so much.

For me it's an escape. I could have the worst week but when I'm at the races on the weekend it's like nothing else matters but what's happening at that moment, like time has no relevance, it's like time slows down, like were just going to be racing forever, and between the sound of screeching tires, exhaust, chaos, and all the drama I just get lost in the action. I found my little corner of tranquillity. I know it's not the greatest thing to do but I have no alternative with a passion this big.

I don't really see street racing as a sin, were just doing what we love to do, they tell us to save it for the track, but the nearest track is hours away. They say it everywhere. I'm not going to drive 1 1/2 to 2 hours to go to the track, pay 20.00 to 50.00 to race once or twice, what there forgetting is that this is a lifestyle not a hobby. Racing on the street is so much easier and you can run anything, plus it's free (except tickets). The only way I'd go to the track is to get my car timed or to hang out with friends. Besides I'll be going to rockfalls drag strip everyweekend this summer with my crew.

If they really wanted to stop street racing they'll close off 1 street in many cities all over the U.S. every weekend and charge 10.00-15.00 a piece to race all night, then we won't have an excuse. They'd make a killing for the state to put into education, roads, plus with our national debt the U.S. can use every penny they can get. We'd just be giving back to the community. They'd save lives, and they'd make it a lot easier for us and the cop's. The cop's don't even care to much about racing, they even told a couple of my friends they nly come when people call and complain and they know every spot we race at and when. Where I live they got bigger fish to fry. see when the cops deal with us they know their going home to their families at night.

I'm wondering what you guys think about street racing. Just post a reply on this and tell me

God bless.

TO THE SPONSORS:

I know my cars not much now but i'm passionate about making it look nice and this is definately the car that i'm going to pump money into for mod's. Why should I represent you? I represent todays youth, I'm 18 and have my whole life to represent companies that make me happy (: I go to all the car shows, I'll be at the track regularly on the weekend in the summer. Plus everything I do revolves around this lifestyle. My friends, what I do everyday, even my future. I will represent whatever company put's money into my car very well. Your thinking a Mercury Mystique isn't what's popular why pump money into it? Thats just it it isn't popular to mod it will draw a lot more attention to it than any honda ever would. My motto is do it right or don't do it at all. It'll look amazing when I'm done with it.
