Testimony
I was a big partier with no real respect for my mind or body. I lived with friends from the age of 16 while my parents went though a difficult divorce. I abused drugs and alcohol, went for days without sleep regularly, and was flunking out of school. Eventually I ended up in a suicidal depression and checked myself into the psyc ward at the hospital in my hometown in 2004. It was there were I was saved by God through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I experienced one of the most dramatic experiences of my life in that hospital. I had heard of such experiences but dismissed them until it happened to me. I woke up on the third morning of my visit and started to tingle all through my body. It was though Gods hand reached down and hauled out of the dark pit that I was in. I felt as though I was rushing through the air faster than anything I had ever experienced, flying out of the darkness, flying toward the light. His Love permeated my being, I could feel it rushing through me, cleansing me of past sins and mistakes. It felt as though I was filled with a living light, brighter than the sun, that was also love. The experience left a deep impression on me, and following my release from the hospital I named Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Today I live with my Dad, but have great relations with both of my parents. The transformation in my life was nothing short of miraculous, and I thank God daily for giving me a chance to live according to His will and His ways.
