I have been a Christian all of my life, and I can attest to the power that the Lord has in our world today. When I was very young, I was stricken with a rare disease that consists of contraction of the blood vessels, with about a 60% survival rate, even with today's medicinal techniques. Through the Lord's good graces and a whole lot of prayers from family and friends, I made it through and now I give thanks to the Lord for helping me in life, every day. I praise him for the courage he has given me to face life on its own, for the magnificent mind he has bestowed upon me, and the wonderful opportunities he has given me, including my car, which was just purchased very cheap and is in the process of being fixed up.
