  • This was my shop truck about ten years ago. It had a 4 bolt main 350 and a sliding ragtop. It was a pretty cool ride for an old phone company truck.
  • My friend Phillip's Neon and mine. Sadly, Phillip's has since been rolled. Thankfully he wasn't hurt.

Engine Mods

Stock 16 valve DOHC; AC compressor removed.

Just added on April 1: titanium gofasters, high performance turn signal pump, kevlar fuel injector belts and greasable muffler bearings.

Custom rear spoiler (for cavalier, but it fits perfectly), custom graphics (by Evansgrafx, of course). APC taillights, X3 Racing headlights, LED warning lights.

100 watt Street Thunder siren, SVP warning light, custom switch panel, Mounted Magellan MAP330 GPS.

Suspension

Stock Sport upgrade suspension; also has stock 4 wheel disc brakes (rare) and ABS (which I can't stand).

Exhaust

Custom-made cold-air intake and APC dual cone filter, Driver FX stainless straight-through muffler.

Future Mods

Sold the vehicle in January 2009 to make room for a new shop truck. Although I was sad to see it go it would be senseless for me to own and insure 3 vehicles. I miss the gas mileage.

9-20-08 MVFD#1/Nastalgic Nights People's Choice Award. I demanded a recount, but they insisted on giving me the trophy anyway.

    Sadly,I must announce that my Neon was sold in December 2008.  It's still in the "family" as it has been sold to a brother firefighter.
